One of the most memorable stories involves a young boy who attended our meal distribution program. Despite his family's hardships, his smile and gratitude reminded us of the profound impact our work has on individuals.

It can be challenging, but having a passionate team and a supportive family helps. We prioritize our goals, delegate effectively, and ensure we make time for self-care and family activities.

 During our expansion, one personal challenge was managing the stress and uncertainty that comes with new projects. Balancing the excitement of growth with the fear of the unknown required a lot of resilience and faith in our mission.Alot of praying.

CEO Steve Martin, President Teddy Cobb, and Vice President/Treasurer Nikitta Martin are a remarkable team, each contributing uniquely to their community and personal growth. Steve and Nikitta, a dedicated married couple, work tirelessly to support their family. Steve is striving to become a plant supervisor, while Nikitta is pursuing online college classes to secure a more promising career. She also plays a significant role in Save Our Selves, having designed its logo. Teddy Cobb, like Nikitta, is attending ICC in Tupelo, MS, focusing on a trade in heat and air. Having grown up in poverty and faced numerous challenges, they deeply understand the struggles of needing and not having. They exemplify resilience and the power to be the change their communities need, each with inspiring testimonies to share with people from diverse backgrounds.

Programs can include reports detailing specific outcomes, and virtual updates featuring success stories and testimonials from beneficiaries. Additionally, we organize a monthly clothes drive and are actively developing new programs to support children returning to school annually.

With a wealth of talent in culinary arts, cosmetology, barbershop services, web design, body and paint, and interior design, we are eager to unite and create thriving enterprises. Our goal is to contribute positively to our communities and be recognized as outstanding citizens. Additionally, we are dedicated to investing in a shelter for those in need.
